My story

blogHey Guys,

I am Dora, a traveler and blogger from Hungary. I have been traveling since the age of 6 and so far I explored the majority of the European countries and many more around the world. I started this blog in 2014 during my roadtrip in Iran, and my obsession for traveling and blogging have kept me moving on since then.

Last year I decided to follow my dreams and went on a gap year with my best friend. Our first short stop was Thailand; then we worked and explored the breathtaking nature of New Zealand in 10 months; we flew to Tonga just to have a swim with the whales; then in Australia we drove up from Sydney to Cairns along the coast, dived the Great Barrier Reef and camped on an uninhabited island. We continued our journey in Peru, went sandboarding, flew over the Nasca lines and climbed up the Machu Picchu and the Rainbow Mountain. Our last stop was Cuba, where we arrived just 4 days after Fidel Castro died, so we grieved with the nation, explored the endless tobacco fields, drank mojitos, danced salsa and drove away in the sunset in american oldtimers…

We met many friends along the road, so I have been considering to add an English section to my blog. Of course my first thought was the translation of the posts. But let’s be realistic, who has time for that? Unfortunately not me. So I came up with a new idea, which was inspired by a competition for one the World’s most inspiring job: I will post video entries in English, so that everyone can enjoy them.

Please leave a comment or ask me if you are interested in our adventures, or you need some practical advice.

Cheers, Dora
